Realistic 3d product images are often used when the product has not reached the production stage. Another advantage we have with 3d product photography is the optimization of resources; it is unnecessary to produce all the images in one day, and we avoid renting a studio, lighting equipment, etc.
In more elaborate brand photographs where the product coexists with other elements, we still prefer classic photography, but the 3d option is perfectly viable for certain types of images.
The model is done with Cinema 4d, and the texturing, lighting, and final rendering is done with Adobe Dimension.
