Agua Pesada

Agua Pesada was developed between Berlin and Porto over the course of nearly two years. It began in 2023 with the piece that gives the album its title, and gradually, small compositions, field recordings and previously unreleased collaborations found their place within this cosmos of scattered fragments. Many date back to 2015 and have been faithfully recreated, while others have evolved into new, more intimate and abstract textures.

The Aragonese Pyrenees, San Pancho, Rügen, Barcelona, Paris, Porto and Berlin form the territories of this sonic map: a travel diary made of atmospheres, layers of sound and chance decisions, in which everything eventually falls into place. Water is a constant presence, both in the recordings and in the planning of these journeys. Dense sounds, liquid feedback and self-generating echoes form a sonic matter that flows and carries weight.

Agua Pesada is a way of letting go while preserving. A tribute to detachment and to the nostalgia of idealised memories.
